Nidhi Goyal is an MBA and a Chartered Accountant with over 28 years of experience in financial, tax and regulatory matters with professional firms of repute including Big4 firms. She has been active in working on sectors such as aviation, aerospace, defence, infrastructure including roads, power, tunnels, ropeways, EPC. Her experience includes rendering structuring advisory services, financial advisory, financial modelling, merger and acquisitions, joint ventures, and technical collaborations.
Over the years, she has developed skills in identifying tax issues, conceptualizing the solution models, and has keen understanding of the process involving optimization of the alternative solutions. She had started Aerospace & Defence Industry vertical of Deloitte India besides handling taxation. She was Managing Director, tax and regulatory practice in Protiviti India. Currently she is running consulting firms successfully in New Delhi, with the names, Prisha Wealth Management Private Limited, Avinav Consulting, Nivesa Advisors, SPNG& Co, and Avinav Advisors.
Nidhi’s experience includes rendering advice to various multinational companies, Indian companies, government undertakings, service providers and non-profit organizations. She has handled tax structuring assignments inbound and outbound from tax perspective. Previously, she had handled matters concerning transfer pricing assignments, domestic tax and international corporate tax, indirect taxes, regulatory matters such as corporate laws, foreign exchange control regulations, foreign direct investment policy, in Deloitte, PwC and RSM & Co.
Nidhi advises various multinational organizations, Indian companies across industries. She has been involved in handling issues for clients in oil & gas, non-banking financial companies, infrastructure, retail, telecom, information technology, FMG sector, hospitality sector, research and development, pharmaceutical companies, aerospace and defence industry, airlines.
She is currently President, Indirect tax vertical of BRICS CCI, India. She is also an Invitee member of Tax Committee of ICAI. She was empaneled with FICCI Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry for GST (Goods and Service Tax) related training – Underwent the “Training of Trainer” GST training programme being conducted at the National Academy of Customs and Narcotics, Government of India as a FICCI resource person. Awarded for exemplary contribution and services to the cause of profession and contributions in International Taxation, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Written a white paper on Taxes in Aerospace and Defence sector and tax proposals in Ropeway / Cable Car Industry. Involved in many professional activities with various industry forums, holding, participating, contributing in conferences / seminars, She was a founder / convener of a study circle of ICAI. Member of Aerospace and Defence Committees of various Indian Chamber of Commerce at National Level and working on few initiatives of these Chambers. Written thought leadership papers on aerospace and defence industry and organized knowledge partnership with CII and Antrix / ISRO.
